EXCHANGE POLICY

 "NO REFUNDS, ONLY EXCHANGES" 

 Your shopping experience at HelmetsAmerica is backed by a commitment from HelmetsAmerica to value our customers purchasing decisions. We strive to ensure every customer receives the right product to suit their individual needs. Sometimes, for a variety of reasons, a purchase may not meet those needs and may require an exchange.

We will gladly accept your exchanged merchandise under the following criteria:

1. All exchanged merchandise must be pre-authorized by HelmetsAmerica.

2. All exchanges must be received by HelmetsAmerica within 15 days of the original purchase date (refer to your invoice for the original purchase date).

3. All exchanged merchandise must be in new and unused condition, and in the manufacturer’s original package or box. Returned items must be in original packaging and shipped in a separate shipping container. For example: Helmets must be right-side-up in the manufacturer’s box, and this box must be placed in a generic corrugated cardboard box with a padding element such as styrofoam peanuts or packing paper; exception: shipping containers where the product was originally shipped to you in its original display box as the shipping container, such as an over-sized item that requires assembly. Packages and boxes returned to HelmetsAmerica not meeting the above described criteria will be refused. Note: Helmets must be placed in their protective cover/bag before placing in their respective box to avoid damage to the helmet finish (i.e., scuffing). Helmets not returned in their respective protective cover/bag before boxing may not be accepted by HelmetsAmerica, and may be returned to the sender without further processing.

4. All manufacturer printed materials originally sent with your purchased item must accompany the exchanged merchandise.

5. All exchanged merchandise must be shipped with the HelmetsAmerica issued Exchanged Authorization (RA) number clearly marked on the exterior of shipping carton/envelope.  The return shipping process also must include a UPS tracking number or a United Postal Service tracking number depending on the shipping process you choose.   HelmetsAmerica.com will not be responsible for lost returned packages.

6. Closeout and/or Special Order items will not be accepted for exchange.

Please follow the above mentioned criteria as returns received not meeting the criteria above will be ineligible for credit or exchange and will be returned to the sender.

Shipping fees on returned merchandise are responsibility of the customer. Original shipping costs are not refundable.

Exchanges are subject to product availability.

Our UPS pickup is at 2:00pm so orders received by Noon (Central Time) will usually ship the same day except holidays, weekends, and major earthquakes, i.e., "Next Day Air" means the day after we ship it; not, necessarily, the day after you order it.

That is, unless we hear from you. If you have a birthday or other occasion where you have to have an order by a certain date, give us a call and let us know. And remember, UPS doesn't count weekend days. (Although we can have a Friday order shipped overnight for Saturday delivery--but it's big bucks, so try to plan ahead.)

Some for-instances: If you place an order at 3pm on a non-holiday Wednesday, your order will normally be shipped the following day. If you place your order on Friday afternoon, your order will normally be shipped on Monday.

If you place the order at 10am on a normal weekday, your order will probably be shipped the same day. We do our best but, admittedly, we're not perfect.
